What differentiates FileCloud from other similar products?

The difference is its data residency feature. My European partners are concerned about GDPR and want their data to stay in Europe. In File Cloud, you can set which region the data is stored in. It server based data storage also enables data security for most of the organization.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love its automatic sync feature that lets me work on global partnership documents with my team every day. We can sync our documents with each other and can work live. I also love how we can customize our files particularly according to the regional users, specifying files only for that particular region.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its admin control has been a huge problem for us. Giving access to some partner involves multiple complex steps which makes it even harder for us to grant customized permissions. This needs to be resolved on urgent basis for sure.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Hold a workshop and only imply it on large scale after everyone is comfortable. Their official tutorials are very useful as well, check them out .Keep in touch with their support team, they are very helpful. But back up your data beforehand, you never know when something might happen.

What differentiates FileCloud from other similar products?

We needed a large file sharing solution that could be hosted on-premise and this has fit our needs perfectly.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It is highly customizable and can be rebranded for your organization.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Finding specific users files can be difficult.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is a great solution if you need an on-premise file sharing solution. It's easy to implement with a VM template and is user friendly.
