What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

Great tool to manage, integrate, and process all your enterprise data and do the analysis and provide information for decision making.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Great tool to monitor daily, weekly, monthly sales and if you bring in budget the Year-over-year analysis is possible.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes it's functionality is little bit slow and could take sometime to calculate business functions.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Make sure to have a Product roadmap and future vision before starting the implementation.

What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

It can get the right set of information in the format you want out of the whole organisation wide data. It can allow you to automate the data to be shared with internal and external vendors. It allows dashboards, analytics and graphical representation of data for better understanding.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Scheduling engine, custom calendar, service oriented architecture

What do you dislike most about this product?

The Lumira tool needs to be stabilized. Scheduling of dashboards and analysis need to be simplified.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Traditional enterprise reporting, explore the feature, functionality, scalable & platform stability.
