What differentiates Twilio SendGrid Email API from other similar products?

Its a more complete product and focused to developers. without forgetting about not technical users allowing them to create templates and other marketing campaigns. Its really useful that devs can use in code the changes and templating that was made by non devs

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It works out of the box! works in almost any platform/language and its really complete.

What do you dislike most about this product?

the UI can look a little bit outdated and sometimes does not refresh properly making some readings of analytics difficult to do.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

go ahead and test it out in a placeholder application. Create some basic templating from which you duplicate them to create newer emails. its really maintainable this way.

What differentiates Twilio SendGrid Email API from other similar products?

Its Focus on transactional email's, comprehensive Analytics, powerful API, and also user friendly features like simplified campaign management, not to forget the email templates.

What do you dislike most about this product?

As email volume increases, the cost can escalate significantly, which i feel could be a concern for businesses with growing email needs and limited budgets.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1. Evaluate your email needs 2. Use the free trial. 3. If you have technical resources, explore SendGrid’s API for integrating email functionality into your applications. This can enhance your email workflows and provide custom solutions

What differentiates Twilio SendGrid Email API from other similar products?

Scalability is Sendgrid's strongest property from my experience. We regularly send out tons of automated newsletters and transactional emails on a daily basis. Sendgrid gets them delivered to recipients inbox in seconds , regardless of the volume or whether the recipient uses a private domain , yahoo, gmail hotmail etc The aforementioned high delivery rate is the most important part of any email marketing solution and Sendgrid does this very well.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Although this is not specific to Sendgrid, I think that Sendgrid's code editor is easy to use for me and my peers . It provides key code editing features like syntax highlighting and one-click code synchronization. The availability of the aforementioned two features on Sendgrid's code editor, ensures we can design email templates from scratch from within the Sendgrid dashboard.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Just like every other email marketing solution, Sendgrid provides an email templates library. However , the templates on the library have never been fit for the purpose of any of our email campaigns. This is the one aspect of my experience with Sendgrid, which I criticize.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I readily recommend Sendgrid to anyone looking at deploying an email marketing solution with the caveat that , high technical expertise is needed to maximize the quality that Sendgrid offers.
