Elastic Observability stands out with its unified view of logs, metrics, and traces powered by Elasticsearch's fast search. It offers cost-effective unlimited data ingestion, open-source flexibility.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect is its unified view of logs, metrics, and traces in one powerful platform, making troubleshooting super fast.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike the steep learning curve the most, as it requires expertise in Elasticsearch and Kibana for best results

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start small with one app and logs before scaling to full metrics/traces. Learn Elasticsearch basics to handle its curve, and use OpenTelemetry for easy data ingest.

What differentiates Elastic Observability from other similar products?

With Elastic Observability, you can track how quickly and reliably your services and web pages respond. So you can avoid downtime, it performs frequent checks and alerts you when something is wrong.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like that with its affordable price, Elastic stands out as one of the best siem and observability products in its class. Suddenly, the team is working on a lot of different aspects of product development.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Documentation that is inconsistent and often appears to be out of date. Customer service is slow. A strong familiarity with Elastic's whisker notation is required to receive alerts.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

With Elastic Observability, you can take advantage of incredible features and capabilities, protect your system from bot attacks, and drive revenue growth.
