Looker stands out by making it easy to turn complex data into clear, shareable insights without needing constant IT help.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect of this product is that it quickly build and customise dashboards to spot trends and share insights.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike this product that it becomes a bit slow when handling very large datasets which makes me delay in my works.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

. I would recommend using the easy-to-use dashboards and strong data modelling, but make sure to learn more about its detailed features to get the most benefits from this product.

Looker differentiates itself from other BI and analytics platforms through its unique approach to data modeling, cloud-native architecture, and strong developer-centric features

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Looker BI is its LookML data modeling layer. This feature provides a powerful, reusable, and centralized way to define business logic and metrics, which ensures consistency across all reports and dashboards.

What do you dislike most about this product?

What I dislike most about Looker BI is its steep learning curve and complexity for new users, especially those without a technical background.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Looker thrives in environments with strong data engineering or analytics engineering resources who can build and maintain LookML models. Ensure you have or can hire talent comfortable with SQL and LookML coding. Spend time upfront designing a clean, reusable LookML data model. This foundation will pay off with consistent metrics, easier maintenance, and scalable self-service analytics.
