Due to its robust and strong visualization capabilities and seamless integration with Microsoft 365.

Can be a bit complex for new user and sometimes occasionally performance issue with large datasets.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Great data visualization and reporting tool but plan for user training to start. Ideal for Microsoft eco system to get most out of it.

limited customization and control over visual elements—especially axis scaling, label formatting, and default slicer behavior

If you're considering Power BI, make sure you're already invested in the Microsoft ecosystem, learn DAX early for advanced insights

What differentiates Microsoft Power BI from other similar products?

Power BI stands out because of how well it integrates with Microsoft tools like Excel, Teams, and Azure. For someone in a large organization like Bank, this really helps in working smoothly across systems. Also, the interface is user friendly, and the dashboards are quite interactive and visually rich.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part is the data modeling and DAX formulas, once you get the hang of it, you can create really powerful reports. I also like the ability to schedule refreshes and set up alerts, it helps in tracking live data without manually checking every time.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes, performance drops when handling very large datasets, especially if not optimized properly. Also, licensing and cost structure can be a bit confusing when you are scaling across multiple teams.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Start small – maybe with basic reports or dashboards and take time to learn the DAX language. Also, invest a bit in training your internal team, because once you know how to use Power BI properly, it becomes a very powerful tool. And if you're in banking or financial services, define your data governance model early, it wll save a lot of effort later.
