SAP tool, reliable with performance and security but missing modern features.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SAP BO report distribution, scheduler. good formatting for PDF reports

What do you dislike most about this product?

Price, in memory concept. Delay in adapting new features.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There are multiple options available in less price such as Power BI.

What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

SAP Business Objects is easily integrated with a number of applications used in the industry. It's easily customizable and requires less or no training to operate. The reports generated can be easily extracted in pdf, csv or excel depending on the requirement of a user.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

One of the favorite aspect of SAP BusinessObjects is it's generated report with clear representation of the prompts used for the report. It is either on the top section or added as an additional tab in the spreadsheet which enables checkers to have a clear indication of the prompt used by the makers.

What do you dislike most about this product?

One of the challenges I faced with BusinessObjects was scheduling reports on a recurring basis. Manual scheduling doesn't allow user to have a report which is having variable dates/inputs. If scheduled for a particular date, the manual scheduler will run the report every time with the same date rather than changing it.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

If you are looking for a product which will cater to your reporting requirements to clients or investors, then SAP BusinessObjects is definitely one to watch for. It has a number of pre-defined structures to help the users customize the reports depending on the requirement.

What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

We use SAP BusinessObjects to access, visualize, and analyze data. It also has a drag and drop feature for a more interactive interface. Its a great tool for non-technical users, as we don't have to write code for basic usage

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Insights and predictive analytics are automated with the help of AI and ML. Great graphing library for creating line plots, area charts, bar charts, histograms, and more

What do you dislike most about this product?

We have experienced slow performance when multiple prompts are opening. Requires a large number of hardware resources

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

SAP BusinessObjects is a professional tool often regardes as one of the top data visualization tools. If you choose to use SAP BusinessObjects, you can create visualizations for viewing not just on the web but also on mobile. This tool provides multiple information supply connections
