What is your favorite aspect of this product?

SAP BusinessObjects Dashboards wich allow us to create custom dashboards from reports. These include interactive charts, gauges and widgets

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you plan to install SAP BusinessObjects with different languages, it's easier to do it when you do a fresh install. Avoid doing it later as it's not an easy process and can create a lot of risk in your deployment environment

SAP BusinessObjects is a solution that will deliver the insight you need to understand data and use it to make better decisions to help manage your enterprise and focus on sustainable growth

What differentiates SAP BusinessObjects from other similar products?

I like that I can simply pull a report. The report that I pull from this technique is student schedules once they’ve been registered for classes. It’s super friendly to use and I prefer however I can pull a report and it provides me a few completely different formats to choose from instead of simply a typical one. I’m a lover of the business warehouse. This add-on puts master data to nice use and given its excel-based the information becomes straightforward to slide and dice for analytics.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It’s straightforward to use. Also, it is easy to show to different regular users. It is convenient to drag data and build calculations and formulas. I take advantage of Bi daily. The analysis for office add-on is what I use at my place of employment that could be a pivot table and makes it straightforward to put data for analysis. BO has multiple components tailored to every business need. We’ve got Crystal reports for image perfect reports for printing & mailing, we have web Intelligence coverage for data analysis and ad-hoc reporting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The drag-and-drop interface is typically troublesome to use particularly once operating with giant amounts of information such as claims. Once you utilize the program more, it seems to urge easier to use. The errors! Again, if the underlying data is imperfect the output will also be flawed.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

This is often a good software package for SAP. I extremely advocate considering this software for chemical businesses. The universe will offer higher control of information restrictions, security profile implementation and so on There are many options brought in or improved over the previous versions. SAP Business Objects permits the corporate to integrate with external systems, like SIMS Claims and Microsoft office, and combine data from these business analytics and coverage functions.

Also, it’s easy to teach to different regular users. It is convenient to drag information and create calculations and formulas.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The platform is incredibly slow. A million data limit is a joke and most of the charts are simply not intuitive. No data science implementation like R and Python scripts. The dashboard isn’t very interactive and I believe the tools must be rebuilt from beginning to finish. Not fit the purpose.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I have used this software for a lot of time. It’s a useful gizmo for scripting and developing reports. It’s a straightforward drag-and-drop choice to pick out what variable you wish in your final report. If you’ve got a sizable amount of facilities and have data kept in multiple universes, it permits you to make a combined question and obtain a final report from multiple universes.
