Great solution to provide data analytics

What differentiates Tableau from other similar products?
Ability to pull data into separate datasets from multiple products with native integration to Salesforce. Its a great solution and is also embedded directly into Salesforce with great capabilities and separate permissions for users
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Exploring data on dashboards is extremely good, the fact you can link components on the dashboard to filter based on other selections means the whole dashboard works together. Very strong functionality in this area. The ability to pull data into datasets and report on this outside the other systems is very useful. With a bit of work trending can also be configured.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not many external products have standard integrations, no where near as many as tableau itself. There is ability to import CSV but this requires using other ETL tools if you want this automated.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Definitely consider doing a PoV and consider having some sort of training or using a third party to implement as there is a lot of understand required before jumping in. KPI's also need to be clearly established before designing dashboard and recipie's (data jobs)

The suite provides balanced self-service with high accountability. With Tableau, you’re able to address issues with confidence, knowing you have accurate, up-to-date data and a protected collaborative ecosystem.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The tool lets you share reports and dashboards both internally and externally. The tool guides you through each stage of the process to unlock BI analytics capabilities that add significant value to your company.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The customized data-driven interactives that use each module to make complex datasets in reusable formats does not make this tool the easiest to use.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The platform may be scaled up or down based on your requirements, allowing it to adapt to the needs of your business. It lets you process analytics requests on your company’s data faster.
