Basecamp: a very practical tool

What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?
In essence, Basecamp allows the team to properly distribute the work, converse on the various topics quickly, make big announcements, keep the discussions on the agenda and established topics, store and organize key files and assets, set milestones and deadlines, as well like conducting routine checks to make sure everything is in order. All this, Basecamp manages to do it in a simple and friendly way.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
- Among its attributes, Basecamp within my work environment, offers task lists, an editor (collaborative type) of documents, milestone markings, files shared by the various users / members of the project team, timestamp registration, as well as a chat-type instant messaging platform. - Making simplicity its main attraction, that is, showing itself as a friendly environment (“user-friendly”), within which the various options are clearly visible, thus leaving little space or time for distractions. - Streamlines project management activities. - Offers a varied list of functions. - It has versions for cell phones.
What do you dislike most about this product?
- The Basecamp team updates and / or modifies the tool without prior notice.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Basecamp is a tool with many functionalities that help the effectiveness and efficiency of a project, of which we can highlight: - Allows notifications and reminders through e-mail. - By integrating with external calendars (Google Calendar, iCal and Outlook) it allows assigning tasks to different users by setting time limits. - Track tasks with the use of milestones and task list. - Allows you to view the status of all the tasks and comments of the project through the task board; it also allows measuring the duration time used in each one.

What differentiates Basecamp from other similar products?
With Basecamp, I can categorized and differentiate project and assign them to each team members . I helps to track project completion and progress easily.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It has one flat price for Business plan that has unlimited project and users. It also has large collection of project template that can fit any project objective that we are running.
What do you dislike most about this product?
They don't provide desktops program or mobile apps, everything is running thru web browser and it will sometimes make the web browser running slow.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Basecamp is a great project manager software, it can cater your company needs and help facilitate communication between team members.
